Brass Plane
When I have kids visiting the shop, they love these little brass
planes. Once the plates are roughed out with gouges, the fine
leveling and shaping is done with finger planes. When I plane flamed
maple I have to change the blade with a tooth one, so the wood grain
will not chip.
