Effe
The ff allow air exchange with the inside of the instrument, the sound
does not come from the ff but from the vibration of the plates. I like
to study how a particular maker evolved his style carving different
types of ff. There are more dramatic changes in ff styles then any
other part of the violin. Style is priceless.
