Purfling
The purfling is made of pear wood, poplar and pear wood again. The pear
wood is dyed black and then glued to the poplar. I tried to inlay the
three separate veneers making the replica of a Gasparo viola and create
a natural unevenness. To follow another makers idiosyncrasies is the
hardest work.
