Comfort for violists is an eternal struggle. Today' s violists are true virtuosos and demands necks that are as thin as a violin' s would be. I like the style of Andrea Guarneri' s violas, also have made Gasparo' s, Stradivari, and Maggini. One of my favorite is Hieronimus Amati. He was a bold man.
