Antique Varnish
I love the work of Guarneri del Gesu, particularly when it comes to varnish.
To replicate this effect was tricky because the ground coat had different shades
of gray and green while the varnish was beautifully transparent with very little dirt in it.
Patina residue were accumulated around the upper region and the part where the shoulder-rest
is attached.
